Lodging: A combination of lodge and Tented camps. Links to lodges & camps provided in the itinerary. All lodging will have beds and bathrooms with showers.
Transportation: Transportation will be primarily by well-equipped four wheel drive Land Rover or Land Cruiser safari vehicles, with open (pop up) roof. There will be no more than four to five persons per vehicle. This ensures everyone has a window seat and enough room to be comfortable.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are included as well as one 1.5 liter bottle of water daily.

Safari Style
This safari is designed for active people who are interested in an in-depth safari experience. The safari’s emphasis is on being close to the land, close to the people and close to the culture.  It will combine exploration of wildlife (game drives) with culture and environment (time to interact, play sports, etc. with the Maasi tribe). This safari combines a bit of adventure with a bit of luxury and a whole lot of fun.

May 15: Safari starts in Arusha from town or pickup at the destination. Drive to West Kilimanjaro, at Ndarakwai private game reserve on the western slopes of Kilimanjaro. May 16: Depart and journey via Arusha national park and heading on to Tarangire National Park Late breakfast and relax in the beautiful grounds. For early risers there is an optional walking safari in Arusha National Park through meadows populated with giraffe and cape buffalo. Leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park and afternoon game drives. May 17 All day game drive. Picnic lunches or dine at the lodge. Continue game drives or relax in the afternoon near the pool. Late afternoon game drives. May 20 Game drives and exploring in Serengeti. Transit to the south or west to the Grumeti River as determined by our guides and animal movements. May 21 Further explorations of Serengeti with transit through the short grass plain with good game viewing en route on the way back to Arusha stop at Olduvai Gorge and the shifting sand dune. Arrive Arusha at noon for afternoon in town and onward connections homeward.

May 22: Arrive home
